FOREIGN RADIO CLAIMS
FOREIGN Radio Broadcasts are reported back automatically to the Regional Performing Rights Organisation (PRO) in the country concerned, subject to their licencing conditions. These are then forwarded via PRS For Music to Maori Music in the UK.
You can often speed up recoveries to the UK by claiming for specific broadcasts.
Some radio stations may be subject to selective sampling by the local PRO and claims may be rejected on this basis.
Your royalties may have been collected by the local society and are now awaiting payment, therefore please leave sufficient time after the broadcast date (10-12 months) before submitting your claim.
Please note that some countries may have additional requirements for this type of claim, such as the provision of a sound file (mp3) so please upload all relevant audio when submitting your claim.
NOTE : Claims may be backdated a maximum of 36 months only.
