PPL / NEIGHBOURING RIGHTS REGISTRATION / CLAIMS
We'll now be able to start processing your PPL / NEIGHBOURING RIGHTS registrations / claims.By submitting your registrations you have enabled us to act as Exclusive Licencee for all listed recordings, enabling us to recover any amounts due to you from PPL, SoundExchange and Music Reports provided that these recordings have not been previously assigned to another party.
NOTE : PPL / NEIGHBOURING RIGHTS are not SALES ROYALTIES - you will have to recover these from your distributor / aggregator.
You are responsible for applying for any necessary MCPS AP2 Licence for CD / Vinyl / Cassette releases but if the MCPS issue you with a Manufacturing Invoice please contact us as when any such Invoice is received as we may be able to pay all or part of this for you.
ALL CLAIMANTS
UK PPL / NEIGHBOURING RIGHTS royalties are distributed in JULY annually.FOREIGN PPL / NEIGHBOURING RIGHTS royalties are distributed in MARCH and SEPTEMBER.
Royalties are made in full to one point of contact in a Band / Act for onward distribution amongst all other stated contributors, as appropriate.
