PLEASE NOTE : The majority of our services (with the exception of Barcode / ISRC Code orders) are for clients of Maori Music Publishing ONLY.

We attach great importance to the efficient collection of Royalties for all of our clients.
At Maori Music our job is to know, on a Worldwide basis, where and when songs have been used.
Our systems allow us to put our writers first and to proactively claim all royalties due, uncollected and / or underpaid.

UK ACTS

Working through numerous royalty administration organisations we offer an extensive range of royalty collection services and can proactively help songwriters to recover royalties due to them from many sources.

UK Acts may either already be, or wish to become, writer members of a Performing Rights Organisation such as PRS For Music, but we can work with non-members equally effectively.

Musical Royalties can be earned from:-

"Live" performances of music in the UK and Abroad Broadcasts of music on Radio and TV Use of music in Films / Adverts etc Use of music in Theatrical Drama productions Use of music on Mixcloud / Beatport / Soundcloud etc Use of music in YouTube videos

Use of music in SONY Video Game soundtracks Mechanical Royalties from physical copies (CD / Vinyl etc) Digital Royalties when music is on iTunes / Spotify etc Print Royalties from magazines, music books and manuscripts PPL Royalties when you have played on recorded music Sync Promo / Synchronisational use of music

MONTHLY : Mechanical Royalties
JAN / APR / JUL / OCT / DEC : Performance Royalties
FEB / MAY / AUG / NOV : Digital / Sync Royalties
JUL : PPL / Neighbouring Rights Royalties
Many royalties (Digital / Sync Fees etc) are paid out on receipt or in the next applicable distribution

MINIMUM DISTRIBUTION THRESHOLD
UK Clients : £ 10.00
Once a year, as part of the October Performance / Mechanical distribution, we lower the threshold to just £5.00 for all UK clients.
NOTE : If we do not have your correct Banking / PayPal details, we will hold any payment until correct details are received.

INTERNATIONAL ACTS

We work most effectively for Bands / Acts from the UK, but we can work with International Bands / Acts in a similar way, however, all International songwriters must now be writer-members of either their Regional Performing Rights Organisation (PRO) or a recognised International PRO such as PRS, ASCAP or BMI.
We will arrange for the majority of performance royalties to be paid directly within their PRO's standard distribution schedules.
NOTE : It is the responsibility of all International Clients to ensure that their songs are correctly registered on their respective PRO's databases, indicating a standard split of 80/20 in their favour, with Maori Music (CAE 159804347) being shown as their publisher.
Failure to do this may cause delays in royalties being paid correctly.
